Luxe minimalism has arrived. Announcing the opening of UNA, a new women's apparel store at Manhattan Village, located directly across from Coach. Created by owner and designer Audrey McLoghlin, UNA represents a lifestyle of simplicity, luxury and casual sophistication.

Located on a lush, palm-lined promenade and designed by Gregory Fisher and April Eckfeld of etoyoc, the store’s intimate arrangement of rich teak and leather are set against a backdrop of enameled surfaces, setting an ideal stage for UNA’s simultaneously luxurious and practical style. UNA divides its clothing into three categories:
Basics, Essentials and Collection. Basics epitomizes the California lifestyle with soft, comfortable tees, designer jeans, and fabulous flip-flops and sandals. Essentials is the foundation of a great wardrobe and offers the “must-haves” including your favorite crisp white shirt, tailored jackets, and the always sought after perfect black pants. Collection, from unique hand-knit bikinis to beautiful cashmere to the updated classic trench, delivers luxuriously understated style. UNA carries both established and up-and-coming designer lines as well as its private-label line consisting of high-end knitwear.

"My biggest source of strength and support is my mother, Oona. I can’t think of a more appropriate name for the company than that of the woman who encouraged and fueled my ambition,” said Audrey McLoghlin, president of UNA. “The name Oona comes from the Latin word Una, meaning ‘one or oneness’. My goal with UNA is to provide an environment, brand and lifestyle that emanates simplicity, elegance, and effortlessness."

Audrey developed UNA as a brand that is as classic as it is modern and gets her inspiration from designers such as Narciso Rodriguez and Jil Sander as well as benchmark retailers such as Nordstrom and Starbucks. Audrey will serve as UNA’s president, as well as store owner and designer of her private-label line. An Atlanta native, Audrey worked for several specialty retailers including Gap and J. Crew and served as a general manager for Rachel Abroms, a three year old, $1.25 million designer accessories line. Audrey earned her degree in Industrial Engineering at Georgia Tech and continued to watch retail trends, research companies and mark the progress of up-and-coming retail leaders. With her formal education in engineering and her passion for apparel, she looked for ways to combine her interest and experience in these two areas. The first step was to develop a logical approach to dressing. And thus the concept for UNA was born.

UNA is located in the new Center Court passageway directly across from Coach. Manhattan Village is located at Rosecrans and Sepulveda in Manhattan Beach. Store hours are weekdays 10 to 9, Saturdays 10 to 8 and Sundays 11 to 6. This is the first location for UNA, with plans to expand and open two more stores next year in Los Angeles and Orange County.
